| Less Is More | 10/19/2007 | | | | Less is more, more or less. Yeah, you’ve heard it a million times. For the past year I’ve been Feng Shuiing my life. I’m sure this is not the correct term. I just decided to take some pop culture, that was ancient culture, and do my own thing with it. Whatever that is. So I’ve been giving my life an over haul. Getting ride of old stuff, and keep on the things that are essential. It’s taking me forever though, but I guess it should. Life seems a bit more organized, and I definitely feel more at ease. It’s continual evaluation. Now that I think about it you should always do this. Yes, you. You should always be evaluating your life, your situation, who you are, or what you have, or at least the things you posses.
Self-evaluation is a thing of maturity. This is not criticism. Self-criticism is a thing of immaturity. But being able to look at ones self and determine places for improvement and change is valuable. It is so easy to look at others and determine what they need to do to be a better human being. Why not take a look at yourself man. Concentrate on letting the things come in that need to come into your life, and removing the things that need to exit. Here’s a notice, Jesus is the king at Feng Shuiing the house. Your house. | Comments (1) | | | | | Cool Snow Birds | 10/14/2007 | | | | It’s cooling down around here. I mean really cooling down. This time of year is what dreams are made of. Everybody loves it, including the Snow Birds. Why we call them Snow Birds, I don’t know exactly. I think it has something to do with colder climates.

I do a lot of editing, video that is, and I find myself waiting on this bar. It’s a nice looking bar, especially if you happen to be using an apple computer at the time. I mean it looks good, you’re moving right along and then it takes 15 minutes to move one percent. You wonder why it is taking so long. Did the computer lock up? I assume that the computer, hence the name, is able to compute without any problems. It’s all math right? Usually they give us an estimated time to completion, but that doesn’t seem to work either. And apple is notorious for this, the estimation. I mean come on. If there is anything in the world I expect to be exact it’s a computer. When I’m rendering video the computer will tell me, “About 12 minutes, or about one hour.” Wow! No, no wait, wow! Why doesn’t a computer know when it’s going to be done? I mean a have like four brains in this thing (quad core). Can’t one of them keep up with what the other is doing? I’m only one brain and I have bosses at work that want to know when I’ll be done with something and estimations usually don’t cut it.

Who’s David and why do I care what kind of bread he eats? It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the reference, it doesn’t matter. The reason I bring it up though is important.

Yepper, that’s what I said in my heart when they said, “…you need to write a blog.” Well I’ve never done this before, but I can guarantee this will be the best blog you’ve ever read. Why, well, why not? I mean who are you and why are you reading my blog anyway?
